Welcome to The Australasian Evaluation Society (AES), Sydney 2011 International Conference website.

The New South Wales AES Conference Committee is proud to offer you this opportunity to join us in Sydney for the 2011 Annual Conference.

Starting with workshops on 29 - 30 August, the Conference will be held 31 August - 2 September 2011.

You can expect an inspiring learning experience from a program of the best national and international speakers as well plenty of opportunities for networking and fun.

Located in the heart of Sydney, the Sydney Hilton venue will create a terrific atmosphere and when you walk out the door you will be close to all the sites and experiences of our beautiful city.

This year's theme, Evaluation and Influence, invites all those with an interest in evaluation to discuss how we can make the most effective use of evaluations as well as how to promote the role of evaluation in the broader community.

The Australasian Evaluation Society (AES) is the primary Australasian professional organisation for people involved in evaluation including evaluation practitioners, managers, teachers and students of evaluation, and other interested individuals. It has almost 1000 members involved in all aspects of evaluation and performance measurement. Members meet regularly through Regional Groups centred in major cities in Australia and New Zealand. Professional development workshops are conducted throughout Australasia on a regular basis.
